When it comes to health and fitness, I believe in sustainability over all else! Sure, there are great "12-week programs, 1-month challenges, 90-day transformations", but by the end of the day, when you finish that, what's next? Another 12-week program? When working with clients, I like to build from the ground up. Instead of handing you a meal plan, I teach you how to build your own. I am a Certified Personal Trainer through ISSA (International Sports Sciences Association) Cert. ID# 3920458. ISSA is an NCCA/DEAC Internationally Accredited Institute. The National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) and The Distance Education Accrediting Commission (DEAC) accredits our exams and practices. I assess someone’s fitness level and goals to customize effective results-driven exercise programs that are individualized to fit clients. I understand the essential components of anatomy, exercise technique, human movement, basic safety, and emergency procedures for exercise professionals. As a CPT through ISSA, I am able to educate clients when it comes to nutrition, diet trends, and supplementation. I also personal train with groups of clients, in the form of small group training. I use knowledge of human motivation and psychology to enhance the behavior change for clients and help create long-lasting change.

Hi my name is Nathan Rosenbloom. I am a former competitive gymnast and tennis player in the Rochester, NY area with only one goal-- Help indviduals succeed in changing life style habits and educating themselves with how to become more independent through fitness. I spent 3 years at the University of New England (Biddeford, Maine) in the Exercise Science program; Finishing up at SUNY College at Brockport with a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology. Karen is simply fantastic. she is so kind and professional. one of my goals was very simple: to be able to get down to the floor and stand back up. I have two new knees (total knee replacements). last week with Karen at my side I was able to fulfill that goal. I sat down on the floor and I got back up....without the help of anything but my legs! without Karen I would have never achieved this. I know it sounds strange but know I can get up if I fall is worth everything to me. it is because Karen has been training me all these months and I have gained the strength and courage to do this. she is simply wonderful!!!

Before becoming certified in Personal Training, I had a long career in Law Enforcement and a few years in Real Estate. I served as a Massachusetts State Trooper for over 25 years and loved every minute of it. My experience there helped me to develope self- discipline and mental toughness which I carry over to my Personal Training duties. I gently try to carry that mindset over to my clients, guiding my clients to become stronger mentally and physically. My other skills include coaching High School Softball, and in the fall, I coach K-2 Field Hockey. I love seeing the skill level improve in them after just 6 weeks. It is amazing. So, therefore I can coach/train any age group and be successful.

US Navy veteran and motivated personal trainer. Always looking for clients who are looking for a positive change in their lives! At 18 years old I joined the armed forces as an aircraft maintenance technician in the US Navy. I wasn't in the best shape and I didn't like to run. Basic Training was a wake up call for me, all of a sudden I was in touch with how out of shape i was. The first 3 weeks hurt like hell, but after that I started really enjoying the exercise portions of the training. My least favorite part of the whole program was becoming my favorite and I began to feel at home with the rise and grind mentality. After the grueling training of bootcamp I began adding weights and other various exercises to my workouts and have continued ever since I want to share this knowledge and this experience with all my clients so they can have the tools to become the best version of themselves they can become!
